Ron York

Ron York is from Nashville, Tennessee but now resides in Columbia. He attended Belmont University and O’More College of Design. Ron began his artistic journey after transitioning from a career in interior design. He opened his first art gallery in 1990 and began painting the following year. Ron’s works can be found in private collections, both in the United States and abroad, and in the collections of Belmont University, Tom Collins Music, First Baptist Church, Renasant Bank and the Nashville City Club, as well as celebrities Vince Gill, Keb’ Mo’, Kelly Clarkson and others. Ron is also an accomplished musician with multiple albums of original compositions. He is also an an award-winning author with two non-fiction books and eight novels published. After selling his art gallery in 2023, he officially retired from his “day job” but continues to paint.
