Sherry Scheitel

Sherry Scheitel is a Columbia, TN native. She does not remember a time in her life when she was not an artist. Her parents enrolled her in painting classes from the age of five because she had always shown an interest in art. Sherry creates things for the joy of it! She hopes to inspire the viewer to think more creatively about the world around us… to find beauty everywhere. With her jewelry, she wants to help the person express their inner artist and individuality by offering a choice that is one of a kind and sure to spark a conversation.

Sherry has a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Middle Tennessee State University with an emphasis in commercial art and a minor in metals and photography. Many of the media that she works in are self-taught, but build on the skills that she has accumulated in her lifetime. Sherry has had her mixed media published in Cloth Paper Scissors Magazine, in the November 2015 issue of Artful Blogging Magazine and has been featured in three issues of Belle Armoire Jewelry Magazine.
