International Women’s Day is a global day, March 8th, celebrating women and their achievements. Gallery 48 hosted an event filled with laughter, joy, crafts and wine. Each women created beautiful decoupaged oyster shells using different patterned napkins. The finished oyster shells look like hand painted ceramic and can be used as trinket dishes. It was a fun and joyful evening and the gallery is planning to host another women-celebrating gathering next year!
